“Victoria Winifred’s lecture was inspirational and professional. She highlighted educational methods that could be used to enhance literacy skills in children in a fun and effective way using chess as an educational tool. We are using her example of a comic strip drawn by a child describing his/her game in our FIDE Preparation of Teachers course. We are looking forward to working with Ms. Winifred to further expand our Chess in Education resources of interdisciplinary tools.” —Rita Atkins, Secretary, Chess in Education Commission
